Every new WhichNotes account includes 7 days of free Premium access — no credit card required to start.
During the trial you get:
- ✅ Unlimited notes
- ✅ AI summaries and topic extraction
- ✅ Smart connections
- ✅ File attachments and dictation
- ✅ All Premium features
After 7 days, your account automatically continues on the Free tier unless you subscribe. Nothing is deleted — you keep your notes and all your data.
What Happens When the Trial Ends
- Note creation is limited to 25 notes on the Free tier
- AI features (summaries, connections, topics) are no longer available for new notes
- Existing notes and their AI analysis remain accessible
- You can upgrade at any time to restore full access

- Review pricing and enter payment details
- Your account upgrades instantly
Payments are processed securely by Paddle. We do not store your card details.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your subscription settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
After cancellation:
- Account reverts to Free tier at period end
- Your notes are never deleted
- You can re-subscribe anytime

Q: Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
A: No. Your trial starts automatically when you sign up, with no payment required.
Q: Will I be charged when the trial ends?
A: No. The trial ends and your account moves to Free automatically. You are only charged if you actively choose to subscribe.
Q: Can I extend my trial?
A: Trials are 7 days for all new accounts. Contact us if you need more time to evaluate.
Q: What happens to my notes if I exceed 25 after downgrading?
A: Your notes are safe. You can read and export them. New note creation is blocked until you're under 25 notes or upgrade.
Q: Is there a student or annual discount?
