Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At WhichNotes, we strive to provide a high-quality AI-powered knowledge management tool. New accounts receive 7 days of complimentary Premium access at signup so you can experience the full feature set before deciding whether to subscribe.

Because of the digital nature of our service (where costs for AI processing are incurred immediately), our policy is that all sales are final, and we generally do not offer refunds once a payment has been processed.

2. Complimentary Signup Premium Access

  • When you create a WhichNotes account, you receive 7 days of Premium access at no cost.
  • No payment method is required for this complimentary access period.
  • At the end of 7 days, your account automatically downgrades to Free unless you purchase a monthly Premium subscription.
  • Paid Premium subscriptions do not include an additional free trial period.

3. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

  • How to Cancel: Go to the "Subscription" tab in your account settings and click "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Plan."
  • Effect of Cancellation: Your cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to Premium features until that date.
  • No Partial Refunds: We do not offer refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused time.

4. No Refunds

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Recurring charges where the user forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
  • "Change of mind" after a payment has been successfully processed.
  • Unused features or lack of usage during the subscription period.

By adhering to this policy, we can continue to offer fair pricing for all users.

5. Exceptions

We may consider refunds in rare, exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, such as:

  • Billing Errors: If you were charged multiple times for the same period due to a technical error.
  • Fraud: If your card was used without your authorization (subject to verification by our payment processor).
