Quick Start Guide
Welcome to WhichNotes! This guide will help you get started quickly and make the most of your personal knowledge management system.
1. Create Your Account
If you haven't already:
- Visit whichnotes.io
- Click Sign Up or Get Started
- Sign up with email or Google
2. Create Your First Note
- Click the "+ Add Note" button or press
Ctrl/Cmd + N - Type or paste your content
- Add a URL if you want to save a web article
- Click Save or press
Ctrl/Cmd + Enter
Your note is now saved!
3. Let AI Do the Work (Premium)
If you're on the Premium plan:
- AI Summary: Automatically generated for each note
- Topics: AI extracts key topics from your content
- Smart Connections: AI finds related notes automatically
4. Organize with Tags
Add tags to categorize your notes:
- Click on a note to open it
- Type in the Tags field
- Select existing tags or create new ones
5. Search and Filter
Find your notes quickly:
- Use the search bar at the top
- Filter by tags using the dropdown
- View your knowledge graph to see connections
6. Explore the Knowledge Graph
The graph visualization shows how your notes connect:
- Nodes = Your notes
- Lines = AI-detected connections
- Click a node to view that note
- Zoom and pan to explore
